Holler

Terms of Use

Effective May 6, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a contract between you and Holler Labs ("Holler," "we," "us") for use of the Holler iOS app and any related services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Plain English, no surprises. Questions: v7canvas@gmail.com.

Who can use Holler

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Holler account. If you're between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you. Children under 13 may appear in the app as household members managed by their parent — they do not have their own accounts.

Your account

Holler uses Sign in with Apple. The Apple ID you sign in with is yours to safeguard — you're responsible for activity under your account. If you suspect someone else has access, sign out and email us.

You can delete your account at any time: open the app → Me → Delete account. Deletion removes your account, household memberships, and the content you authored within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

Holler Plus subscription

Holler is free to download and try. Holler Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks features such as Apple Calendar import, extended history, and Ask Holler (AI-powered queries across your household's notes).

Subscription title

Holler Plus — Annual.

Length and renewal

Holler Plus is sold as a 1-year (annual) subscription, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for another 1-year term at the then-current price, and your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.

Price

The current price is shown in the app and in the App Store before you confirm purchase. Prices may vary by region, taxes, and currency, and Apple displays the price in your local currency.

How to manage or cancel

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Holler. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Plus access through the end of the current paid period. Deleting the Holler app does not cancel the subscription — you must cancel through Apple's settings.

Free trial

If you start a free trial and don't cancel before it ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged. You can cancel during the trial in Apple's subscription settings (above) and you won't be charged.

Refunds

Apple processes all payments and handles refunds. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not separately issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Households and Plus

When one member of a household has Holler Plus, the Plus features apply to the household. Your subscription unlocks features for the family group you're a part of, as described in the app.

Price changes

If we change the renewal price, Apple will notify you and you'll have a chance to accept the new price or cancel before the next renewal, in accordance with Apple's rules.

Apple's standard subscription terms apply. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

What you can use Holler for

Use Holler for personal, non-commercial coordination within your household. Don't:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

Voice notes, transcripts, tasks, heads-ups, household details, and anything else you add to Holler are yours. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and process that content solely to operate the app for you and your household — including sending it to the third-party services listed in our Privacy Policy (OpenAI, Anthropic, Supabase, Apple, RevenueCat). We don't claim ownership and we don't sell your data.

AI-generated output

Holler uses AI to transcribe your voice and extract tasks, heads-ups, and answers from your household's notes. AI is not perfect: transcripts can mishear, classifications can be wrong, and answers from Ask Holler can be incomplete or out of date. Treat Holler's output as a helpful draft, not as authoritative truth. Important things — appointments, medical decisions, legal matters — should always be verified independently.

Service availability

We aim to keep Holler running smoothly, but we don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every iOS version. We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a feature you paid for as part of Plus, we'll do our best to make it right.

Third-party services

Holler relies on third-party services (Apple, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, RevenueCat) to function. Your use of those services through Holler is subject to their own terms. Outages or changes to those services may affect Holler.

Termination

You can stop using Holler at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if continued service becomes infeasible. If we terminate your account without cause while you have an active paid subscription, you can request a pro-rata refund of the unused portion through Apple.

Disclaimers

Holler is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Holler Labs and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD $50 if you haven't paid us anything.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims brought by third parties arising out of content you submit to Holler or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top and notify you (in-app or by email). Continued use of the app after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and Holler Labs only — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA") also applies to your use of Holler. Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA conflict, these Terms control to the extent permitted by law; otherwise both apply together.
